Yet with the erratic growth of Cyprus, along with the vast amounts of tourists, the economic status fluctuates on a continual basis. It has been said that the political indifferences on the island of Cyprus have a certain amount of leverage for the fluctuating economy as well.
With the onset of real estate and development in the Cyprus, Europe, region however this isn’t a concern for buyers or investors. The cost of living in Cyprus is a lot lower than many of its neighboring European counterparts. Cyprus is flourishing despite the changeover to the euro.
Additionally, many residents in northern Cyprus believe that the changeover is ultimately a benefit to the entire island of Cyprus because more tourists will visit the island. As well as the investors buying the developing land. This will only make their economy stronger in many areas and the residents know this.
Not to mention that the currency conversion being so much easier will allow return visits from tourists from other countries or regions.
Basically to compensate for any economic weakness the island might have the tourists and real estate and property development is making up for the weakness. The euro has been in use on the mainland for quite some time and they have prospered because many there believe the currency conversion is a easier task. Therefore, those on Cyprus are initially seeing the same results and as time goes on they hope to see a greater economic incline in the tourism industry on their island.
